2011联想“微公益，做不凡”微公益大赛2011 Lenovo “Microwelfare To Do The Extraordinary” Microwelfare Competition
2011年7月18日，联想集团以“微公益 做不凡”为主题启动了微公益大赛。从即日起到2011年9月初，联想通过微博平台面向全国青年公开征集微公益行动，公益领域聚焦在缩小数字鸿沟、环保、 教育和社区发展。优秀选手可获得联想提供的公益培训、知名公益组织实习、公益资金、志愿服务等关键支持。
作为联想青年公益创业计划的延续，联想希望通过举办这次微公益大赛，倡导公众发掘身边微小的社会需求，用行动表达爱心，并发动他人身体力行。联想也希望通过本次活动推动中国草根公益事业发展。
活动从2011年7月18日持续到2011年9月初，分为微公益征集、集训、实践、成果展示暨颁奖典礼等阶段。其中，7月18日到8月8日为微公益征集阶段。参赛者可登陆活动官方微博平台（www.lenovo.com.cn/csr),发送“#微公益# + #项目名称# + 微公益行动”报名。活动组委会将根据专家评审团意见，以及网友对选手微公益行动的评论和转发量进行综合评审。
2011年9月22日，联想集团在北京大学举行微公益大赛颁奖典礼暨公益微电影《爱的联想》首映式。“爱的摇篮阿里母婴”、“芯火燎原”等17支“微公益 之星”最终胜出，共获得了联想集团提供的139万元的公益基金。他们还将得到联想公益专家团的跟踪指导、联想志愿者的长期志愿服务，并将得到进入联想工作 或实习的机会。在颁奖典礼上，由国际着名导演贾樟柯担任监制的国内首部公益微电影《爱的联想》举行了首映式。
本届大赛由联想集团发起，教育部高校学生司担任指导单位，中国扶贫基金会、南都公益基金会、北京光华慈善基金会、友成企业家扶贫基金会、中国国际民间组织合作促进会、VSO（英国海外志愿者服务社）、网络希望（Net Hope）等国内外公益组织担任协办机构。
2009年和2010年，联想集团曾以“飚爱心•创未来”为主题，连续实施了两届青年公益创业计划，支持青年人在公益领域创业和就业。 两届活动走进全国120多所重点高校，吸引近3万支团队倾情参与，选拔和支持了“小考拉亲子童书馆”、“公益跳蚤会”、“你好营养”等20支优秀团队。

On 2011 July 18, Lenovo started a microwelfare competition with the subject of “Microwelfare To Do The Extraordinary”. From this day to the first of September 2011, Lenovo used Weibo to publicly call for projects of microwelfare to the entire country’s youth. The fields focused on decreasing digital inequality, environmental protection, education, and community development. Excellent contestants could receive Lenovo service training, internships at well-known nonprofit organizations, funding, voluntary services, and other critical support.
As the sequel of the youth social entrepreneurship plan, Lenovo hopes through holding this microwelfare competition to advocate public exploration of tiny social needs, using this operation to voice compassion, and to mobilize other people. Lenovo also hopes to promote the development of Chinese grassroots nonprofit area through this event.
The event ran from 2011 July 18 to the early September 2011, divided into microwelfare recruitment, training, and practice, ending with an award ceremony of projects presentation. July 18th through August 8th was the microwelfare recruitment period. Participants could visit the official activity Weibo (www.lenovo.com.cn/csr) and send “#microwelfare# + #project name# + microwelfare activity” to register. The evaluation by the activity organization committee would be based on the ideas of a panel of experts, as well as Internet users’ comments and forwarding activities.
On 2011 September 22, Lenovo held the microwelfare award ceremony at Beijing University, premiering the public welfare micromovie “Lenovo of Love.” “Mother and Child Love Cradle,” “Origin of the Burning Fire Lamp,” and 17 other “microwelfare star” projects were finally victorious, and received a total of 1.39 million RMB of public grants from Lenovo. They will receive the guidance of Lenovo’s public welfare experts, the Lenovo volunteers’ long-term service, and will receive the opportunity to work or intern at Lenovo. At the award ceremony, internationally known film director Jia Zhangke produced the public welfare micromovie “Love of Lenovo” and held the premiere.
The competition was initiated by Lenovo, and guided by Education Ministry Higher Education Student Bureau. China Poverty Alleviation Fund, Nandu Public Welfare Fund, Beijing Bright China Charity Fund, Friendly Entrepreneur Poverty Alleviation Fund, China International Humanitarian Cooperative Promotion Organization, VSO (British Overseas Volunteer Service Society), Net Hope, and other domestic and international organization assisted in holding this competition.
In 2009 and 2010, Lenovo had “Winds of Compassion – Starting the Future” as its main theme, continuing to implement two youth social entrepreneurship plans, supporting young people’s employment in the field of nonprofit. These activities have been held at over 120 universities around the country, attracting nearly 30,000 teams to participate; the best selected and supported were “Small Koala Parent-Child Children’s Library,” “Public Welfare Flea Meeting,” “Hello Nutrition,” and 20 other outstanding teams.
